Wow! I am so impressed and so happy that I found Saints Heating and Air! We had a company come out and check and repair our AC unit. We felt a bit uncomfortable and I called Saints and he (Carlton) talked me through everything. He was so helpful, kind, and friendly. He came right over soon after and rechecked everything, put our minds at ease, and now I know we will be going with Saints for any future needs. His prices are unbeatable, and he is so honest. He treats your unit as if it is his unit, and will not pressure you into anything you don’t feel comfortable in, or if it doesn’t make sense financially. Thank you so much! 🙂
My husband John and I, as well as our daughter Carrie, have come to regard Saints Heating and Air as treasured friends of the family. As a realtor, I have had the opportunity to meet and see the work of many HVAC companies in the Triangle area, but have found noone as thorough and committed to excellence as Saints Heating and Air. On HVAC inspections, Carlton’s team has identified cracked heat exchangers and other serious issues that could have been both dangerous and expensive to repair for potential buyers.We are also enjoying our own new HVAC system and just appreciate the years of care and service to my family and to my clients.
I want to recommend to all neighbors our experience with Saints Heating and Air in Raleigh. Our home, like many in this area, was built in the mid-1980s, which means that many appliances have reached their working limit. That happened to our HVAC system. We had a problem with our so-called “warranty” service, about which more later. To the rescue came Saints Heating and Air, recommended to us by a friend as reliable and excellent. Carlton St. John, the owner, and his people worked hard to see if the problem could be fixed, but parts were worn out and failing. They installed a new, and much more efficient system at a very reasonable price, all in one day, hauling all the old parts and junk away, and in the process leaving our crawl space in better shape that when we bought the house! The City inspector called the work flawless. Their work is guaranteed, and their first-year checkup is free. I highly recommend them.
Saints Heating and Air has provided service to us for over 15 years. We have found them to be dependable and honest, with attention to quality and detail. Excellent work. Carlton responds so quickly, does terrific work, is a dependable, honest and efficient contractor. He kept our ancient HVAC unit “alive” for years past its expiration date and when it finally died, he replaced it at a very fair cost. He is such a good man that years ago during a stifling July when our A/C had gone out, he showed up at 7:00 a.m. the next morning with a window unit because he had noticed our very old poodle was panting with the heat! It was going to be a couple days’ wait for the part and he was worried about the dog! I’d never use anyone else and have recommended Carlton to a number of people, all of whom have said the same things about him.
This is a small company, but Carlton St. John is the Mike Holmes of local heating and air conditioning service. He’s honest, works hard, and does it right. Last year the permit inspector told me that Carlton had gone above and beyond what was required by code. I’ve also had a termite inspector comment on the quality of his work under the house. Most importantly, the system worked like it should. I hired Carlton back this year to replace my second floor unit.

The first time we hired them, Carlton, the owner, responded the same day with a service call and fixed my unit the same day as well! Carlton has continued to have that same wonderful service and true honesty the entire 11 years that we have known him.
Carlton St. John and his crew at Saints HVAC have provided service for us and kept our original heat pumps functional for many years. Prompt, honest, and dependable on every occasion and they always fixed what was wrong and never suggested doing more than needed. In the last few years we have purchased new heat pumps from Carlton and are extremely pleased with the price, installation, and service from the units. Carlton St John is fair, fast and does great work. I have used his company for nine years now. He made a great selection for my heating and air. Even selecting a system with a excellent warranty in my 8th year something failed. The company was quick to respond and to make sure the warranty parts were accounted for and replaced. My experience is and always has been Carlton St John and crew are honest and excellent craftsmen.
Carlton and his team were fantastic. With a newborn, we were in crisis mode when our AC went out, and Saints was amazing. They did a repair that saved us thousands when other companies wanted to replace our unit completely. A friend referred them, and I’m so happy to have found a company I can trust!

Incredible service from Carlton and his team. Called them on a Saturday morning with no heat and they called me back in minutes and arrived about an hour later. Took a look at the unit and took off a part and cleaned it out, put it back on and it worked again. On top of that, they are getting the part in case it doesn’t last. If you’re looking for an HVAC company that cares, give Saints heating and air a call first.
